Distortion Analyser Calibration
AMECaL is a Precision Calibration Laboratory with over 15 years of experience in working with Distortion Analysers (Distortion Meters). Our team of experts is ready to meet requirements of the most demanding customers. We are accredited with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 for our wide range of calibration services by Perry Johnson Laboratories (PJLA). Over the years we managed to gain trust of thousands of customers around the world due to our professional services and accreditation.
A Distortion Meter (Distortion factor meter) is one of the most important piece of testing kit used when working with audio related equipment. It helps to measure specific frequencies that cause harmonic distortion in audio devices. This can be achieved by injecting a signal in to input of a circuit and analyse its output, looking for any distortion. Harmonic distortion is produced by additional frequencies generated when the signal is emitted. It is good to point out that distortion can not only be present in sound waves, but also in electrical signals, when a current is running through circuit.
Every measurement tool should be re-calibrated over time. There are many external factors that can have strong impact on accuracy and precision of every test instrument. AMECaL advises re-calibration service of Distortion Analysers every 6 – 12 months to ensure its perfect working condition. Our laboratory sells its own brand of test and environmental equipment that is being used by professionals around the world. Sound related test equipment is one of the most important products in our range.
AMECaL offers two types of services to its customers. We can calibrate Distortion Analysers to the British National Standard (traceable Distortion Analyser calibration) or ISO/IEC 17025:2017 international standard (ISO 17025 Distortion Analyser calibration).
We understand that not every customer has the same requirements and that is why we are always open for custom enquiries.
