A Multi-function Tester is an electronic instrument used by electricians to test electrical systems. It is useful to measure low and extra-low voltages in domestic, commercial and agricultural settings. Multi-function Testers can perform many different electrical tests like continuity (low ohms resistance) and insulation resistance (high ohms resistance). Units designed for professional use can also measure prospective short-circuit current tests, earth electrode tests, RCD tests and earth fault loop impedance tests.

 

AMECaL can perform its services in accordance to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 international standard (ISO 17025 Multi-function Tester calibration) or to the British National Standard (traceable Multi-function Tester calibration). Our team of experienced technicians can calibrate and repair any make or model of Multi-function Tester.

 

It is advisable to re-calibrate any test and measuring equipment over time, usually every 6 – 12 months. Temperature, humidity, pressure and possibly poor human handling can have bad impact on any tool and that is why we offer complex calibration and repair services to ensure that the equipment will always stay in proper working order.
