An oscilloscope (also known as an oscillograph) is a type of electronic test instrument that comes in many different shapes and forms. It is used by science, telecommunications, automotive, medicine and engineering industries for maintenance of electronic equipment and laboratory work. The instrument is capable of graphically displaying varying signal voltages as a function in time (they display changes in an electrical signal over time). The signal can be analysed for properties like frequency, amplitude, time interval, rise-time, distortion and many others (sound and vibration can be converted to voltages as well).

 

Due to temperature, humidity, pressure and inappropriate human handling every electrical and environmental equipment should be recalibrated over time. It is advisable to perform proper servicing every 6 – 12 months and it should be done by ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited laboratory like AMECaL.

 

We offer calibration in accordance to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard (ISO 17025 oscilloscope calibration) or British National Standard (traceable oscilloscope calibration).
