This is a Special Mirror Gloss (Reference) Standard (also known as a tile or plate) which is compatible with gloss meters that are able to take measurements up to 2000GU.
This Special Mirror Gloss Standard is ISO/IEC 17025:2017 calibrated (with Gloss Values supplied) for three angles 20°, 60° and 85°.
GT-SMG3 is a special mirror gloss standard with values that match what is widely recognised as the perfect mirror. These standards are perfect to use as a reference mirror standard and it is recommended that they are not to be used on a day to day basis.
The typical values for a Special Mirror Gloss Standard are as follows:
20° = 2000GU
60° = 1000GU
85° = 160GU
